I am sorry I have been MIA. A classmate of Delaney’s took her own life. Trying to comprehend (they are all just 10 years old) and help Delaney get through this.
Our hearts are very sad and our prayers are with the family and everyone in the community.
Danelle, my heart is aching for your daughter and your daughters classmates family. When I read what happened, I just broke down. My brother-in-law took his own life last year. The pain is unbearable. Even today, I still cannot comprehend he is not here with us. I have daughters who are the same age as yours….it is so hard to explain to them what happened because suicide is so hard to understand. We just cannot understand why someone especially a 10 year old would take their own life. I know for my daughters, constantly telling them it was okay to cry, to feel sad and sometimes being angry was okay. It is all part of the grieving process. I know as a mom your heart is aching for daughter. I pray for strength for you, Daleny and her classmates family to get through this very difficult time. Blessings, Mary

i lost 2 of my friends to suicide when i was 17… i don’t think anyone can ever understand why

that is so horrible that I cannot even comprehend it at all. My daughter Savannah is 10 years old also and I just cannot even fathom this happening in my life. I am so sorry for you, your daughter and the family and your community. Please feel my prayers.
